Position:  Apprentice Plant Fitter

Contract Length: Permanent

Location: Milton Business Park, Abingdon, Oxfordshire

Role Overview:

 

Working towards the relevant NVQ qualifications. Performing assembly, dismantling, inspection, repair, and modification of mechanical assemblies and equipment in adherence to relevant standards/specifications. Collaborating with the team in construction machinery maintenance. Candidates will acquire skills in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues, replacing worn parts, and ensuring safe and efficient equipment operation. Attendance in supplementary training across various disciplines is encouraged to continually enhance and complement the comprehensive skill set essential for the role.

 

 

Key responsibilities learning and development include precise diagnosis, efficient repairs using technical skills and tools, routine maintenance for safety and efficiency, compliance with safety regulations, and effective communication with colleagues and clients.

 

Requirements:

  • Ability to work as part of a team and but also on own initiative when required.

  • Valid driving licence is essential.

  • No experience required all training provided.
