Role Overview:

As a Quantity Surveyor at Eoin Flynn Limited, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing project costs, conducting accurate estimations, and overseeing budgetary allocations for our groundwork’s projects. Your expertise will ensure cost-effectiveness without compromising quality, enabling us to deliver exceptional results to our clients.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting comprehensive quantity take-offs and cost estimations for groundworks projects.

• Managing project budgets and expenditures to optimise financial performance.

• Collaborating with various stakeholders including contractors, suppliers, and project managers.

• Utilising industry-standard software/tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency in quantity surveying tasks.

• Negotiating favourable terms with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effectiveness.

• Providing detailed reports, cost analysis, and recommendations to support decision-making processes.

 

Requirements:

• Have a strong education in quantity surveying or relevant field.

• Experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within the groundworks or construction industry.

• Proficiency in quantity take-offs, cost estimations, and budget management.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• Knowledge of industry-standard software/tools (mention specific software if necessary).

• Driving Licence – travel to sites will be a requirement.
